Construction

General construction, excavation, demolition, alteration, or repair of any building within 500 feet of an inhabited structure is restricted. From May 1 to October 15, hours are Monday-Friday 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with concrete pouring allowed one hour prior. From October 16 to April 30, hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Permits may be granted for urgent necessity.

Playing any radio, phonograph, or other musical instrument between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM in a manner or volume that disturbs the quiet, comfort, or repose of persons in residences or offices is prohibited. The use of drums, loudspeakers, or other devices to attract attention through noise is also restricted. Any noise from a radio, tape player, or television outdoors on public property audible 100 feet away is prohibited.

The keeping of any animal, bird, or fowl which, by causing frequent or long-continued noise, disturbs the comfort or repose of any person in the vicinity is prohibited. Complaints regarding barking dogs can be made to the Barking Dog Hotline.

Vehicles

Operating any automobile, truck, bus, motorcycle, or other vehicle so out of repair, loaded, or used in such a manner as to create loud and unnecessary grating, grinding, rattling, or other noise is unlawful. Factors like squealing tires, speeding, and numerous vehicles causing traffic hazards or blocking driveways can contribute to loud party violations.
