Sounding horns or signal devices unnecessarily loud, harsh, or for unreasonable periods, or not as a danger signal, is unlawful. Discharge of exhaust without an effective muffler is unlawful. Repairing, rebuilding, or testing motor vehicles in residential areas between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM is unlawful. Making or causing a commotion or unnecessarily loud noise, or loud or profane music from a motor vehicle, disturbing the peace or annoying neighbors, is unlawful.

Alarms
