No construction or demolition in any residential zone, or within 600 feet of any dwelling unit, between 8:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Friday, and between 7:00 p.m. Saturday and 8:00 a.m. Sunday and holidays, except for emergency work.

Operating an electrically amplified sound system in or on a motor vehicle is prohibited if clearly audible more than 50 feet (15 meters) away. Operating any electronic device (radio, stereo, loudspeakers, etc.) to produce or amplify sound in a manner that disturbs the peace and comfort of neighboring premises is prohibited; audibility at 50 feet is prima facie evidence of a violation.

The Animal Control Officer (ACO) can advise on nuisance pets, such as continuously barking dogs, and can file a complaint if necessary. Dogs are not permitted to run at large and must be on a leash or under other physical restraint when off the owner's premises.

Operating a motor vehicle to make loud, unusual, or unnecessary noise is prohibited, including misuse of power/braking exceeding tire traction limits, rapid acceleration/deceleration, racing engines, and using a straight pipe exhaust system. Sounding a horn is prohibited except as a danger warning or for an unreasonable period.
