Construction or demolition activity is prohibited between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. within 500 feet of places of residence, and within 150 feet of hospitals, schools, courthouses, or churches during their hours of operation. Jackhammers are permitted on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. if effectively muffled.

Playing any radio, music player, television, audio system, or musical instrument in a manner or volume that annoys or disturbs neighboring inhabitants or is plainly audible to non-voluntary listeners in the same room is prohibited. For commercial activities, operation of sound amplifying devices is prohibited between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m., on Sundays, and within 500 feet of any school, church, or hospital. Devices for commercial activities cannot exceed 20 watts output.

Keeping any animal or bird that, by causing frequent or long-continued noise, disturbs the comfort and repose of any person in the vicinity, where such noise can be distinctly heard outside the property line, is prohibited.

Prohibits unnecessary noise from horns, bells, or other warning devices (except as a danger signal), vehicles out of repair creating loud noises, and the unreasonable discharge of exhaust. Motor vehicles producing sound exceeding 95 decibels measured five feet from the source are prohibited.
