Prohibited between 10 PM and 7 AM if plainly audible at the property boundary of the source. During other hours, construction work is prohibited in any zone where operation exceeds the sound level limits for a manufacturing zone (80 dB(A) daytime, 75 dB(A) nighttime).

Using or operating any radio, television, musical instrument, or similar device between 10 PM and 7 AM is prohibited if plainly audible at the property boundary of the source, or if plainly audible at 50 feet from the source at any time. Public loudspeakers are restricted in public spaces for commercial advertising, instructions, or music. Enclosed places of public entertainment have a maximum sound pressure level of 100 dB(A) unless a warning sign is posted.

Owning, keeping, possessing, or harboring any animal that causes a noise disturbance by frequent or habitual noisemaking is prohibited.

Sounding any horn or signaling device unnecessarily is prohibited. Operating refuse compacting vehicles that create a sound pressure level exceeding 74 dB(A) at 50 feet is prohibited.

Loading operations are prohibited between 10 PM and 7 AM if plainly audible at the property boundary. Hawkers and peddlers selling by outcry are prohibited in residential areas. Commercial power equipment rated more than five horsepower exceeding 82 dB(A) at 50 feet is prohibited, with specific exceptions. Garbage collection is prohibited between 9 PM and 7 AM in or within 300 feet of residential or agricultural areas.
